Follow-up sessions (30 minutes): £50
Home Visits (60 minutes): £90 but will vary depending on mileage

Is there a cancellation fee?

Yes. You need to provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment or the full session rate will be charged to you.

What do I need to wear?

You may have to remove clothing down to your underwear depending on the area being treated. You may feel more comfortable in shorts and a suitable vest top.

How do I pay?

Payment method card please, unless it is through your insurance company.

I have insurance, how does Prospect Physiotherapy get paid?

We simply send a bill to the insurance company. You don’t need to do anything except provide all your insurance details (membership number and authorisation code) and tell us about any excess you will need to pay. In the event an insurance company does not settle your bill you will be liable for this.

Is there parking?

There is suitable parking at all sites

Is there disabled access?

Yes.

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral unless your insurance company specifies otherwise.

Can I still have physiotherapy if I am pregnant?

You can still have physiotherapy when you are pregnant. Physiotherapy can help a lot of pain associated with pregnancy.

Can you see me at home?

We can come to your house to assess your condition and treat you.

What do I need to bring?

Suitable clothing; shorts and a vest top, but this is not essential. If you are claiming through your insurance you need to bring all relevant information related to that. If you have any letters or x-ray and scan results that will be helpful too.

Is there a long wait?

No. We can usually see you within 24 hours. There isn’t the long wait associated with NHS physiotherapy.

How long is the first session and will I receive treatment?

The first session is 45 minutes. spending approximately 50% of the time on the assessment and then the rest on the treatment. (Times will vary depending on your condition).

Will I know what’s wrong with me at the end of an assessment and how long it will take to get better?

After the assessment we will provide you with a diagnosis and an idea of how long it will take to get you back to full function. You will also be given advice on how to stop your pain from returning.
